Some days (usually the tired ones) I do fantasize about retreating to a cottage in the woods and rescuing donkeys. But then I walk into this hive. With a team this talented, this steady, this committed, how could I ever leave? It’s very good to be back with my bees. 🐝✨

Our Los Angeles bungalow was built in the 1930s, right next to MGM, while Gone with the Wind and The Wizard of Oz were being filmed. It’s quite possible that a few old Hollywood stars had their tea leaves read by the woman who built this house. Stranger things have happened. As we head into some much-needed renovations, Ashley, our brow specialist AKA Brow Manager, has decided we should create a time capsule before the work begins. 2026 is the Year of the Snake, so we’re shedding the old, renovating, and stepping smartly into the rest of the year, with Ashley keeping a watchful (and unofficial) eye on things. Watch this space and trot on into year of the horse! 🐎
