I grew up on a ranch outside of a tiny town in Southern Oregon (population 900). After torturing my brother and sister by subjecting them to constant makeovers (I loved skin and hair products even then), I went to Stanford University and majored in Economics and English, both of which have proven indispensable to my waxing career! I became an esthetician in 2006 in a classic quarter-life-crisis scenario and was fortunate to join Queen Bee immediately as an apprentice to Jodi in Culver City. It has been thrilling to be a part of this company for so long and to see all of the amazing people and services that are now part of the Queen Bee family.
I moved to Seattle in late January 2015 to be closer to my family and am super excited to be running Queen Bee Seattle! I still love to return to LA for long weekends every 5-6 weeks and am bookable in Culver City on those dates.
I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know so many clients from so many different places and backgrounds. It is the best part of this career. When I became a waxer, I did not anticipate that getting to know so many people would be the best part of the job; after all, I love to wax. My specialties are Brazilian waxes and eyebrow shaping, but I’m happy just being in the waxing room with a full slate of awesome clients.
