I started my career custom airbrushing cars. I’m obsessed with detail so this was a really perfect trade for me. However, I was always attracted to the beauty industry and after picking up an airbrush tanning gun I knew I had found my true calling. So I left one body shop for another and began training to be a spray tan artist in one of LA’s top salons. During a spray tan house call to one of my famous hip-hop divas, I ran into Jodi, the owner of Queen Bee. She knew my work and asked me if I was looking for a place to call home and I’ve been working at our Culver City location ever since.

While heading up the spray tan department, I was also a front desk manager and I also run some of our education classes. Because I am an overachiever, I wanted to up my game and be able to offer my clients more services, so I went to school for my esthetics license. I became obsessed with waxing and now specialize in Brazilian Bikini Waxes along with airbrush tanning. My favorite thing to do at Queen Bee is bridal and group parties. When a couple comes to see me before their big day we can discuss hair removal needs and what they expect from their spray tan. It’s refreshing for me to see so many guys getting these services.

I’m always super nervous when award season kicks off because I’m responsible for turning some of your favorite celebrities into sun-kissed gods and goddesses. It’s a hard job, but really rewarding, especially when I see that client on the cover of a magazine. No matter who you are, I will always give you an Oscar-worthy spray tan.
