In-Beetween Waxing During Bikini Season
During the summer months, it can be frustrating for clients who want a fuzz-free bikini line to see little hairs appear before their next appointment. It’s common for clients to ask what they should do so that they don’t have to come in every two weeks for a bikini wax. Here are my recommendations if you find yourself in this situation:
- If you’ve been waxing for a long time and your hair grows in very softly, go ahead and shave or use a cream hair removal just for the sides of your bikini line – save everything else for your waxer. Shaving won’t hurt the sides and it certainly will not make your hair coarser or create more hair.
- If you’re new to waxing or have shaved for a long time, you’re probably still experiencing those short, stubbly, sharp hairs in your re-growth. Go ahead and shave those hairs on the sides of your bikini line, but again please save everything else (top and bottom) for your waxer.
