Waxing Bee

One of the first things people notice about me is my breezy, laidback vibe, which puts them at ease…even when lying half-dressed next to a hot vat of wax. I attribute this characteristic to spending my childhood in Hawaii, where life is a little simpler than it is here in LA. Since 2001, I’ve lived back and forth between Maui and Los Angeles, during which time I was trained at both Mudd Makeup Designery and the Maui Academy of Cosmetology. After returning to live in LA full-time in 2008, I spent several years at a waxing studio in Venice and a spa in Hollywood before landing at Queen Bee in early 2011. I now specialize in Brazilian bikini waxing and have been told I’m a master at keeping people calm as they experience their first wax.
