Lead Facial Bee/Waxing Bee

I have always been fascinated by skincare, makeup, hair removal and generally picking at others. As a pre-teen, I had my own “spa” in my bedroom, where I would give massages and facials to my “clients” (my mom and sisters), complete with candles and mood music. My preferred method of payment was a free pass from dishwashing duties for the week.

Despite my love for all things skincare, I went the more traditional route after high school and attended the University of Pennsylvania. After pursuing more careers than I could count and never really finding something I truly enjoyed, I knew I needed a career I could be passionate about. I’d been going to Jodi for my waxing for a few years and thought how wonderful it would be to have a career like hers. I could tell how much she loved what she did, and she was making people feel better about themselves in the process. I brought up the idea with Jodi during one of my waxing sessions and she said I should go for it! She even recommended that I attend Santa Monica College’s esthetician program. Well, long story short, thanks in part to Jodi (and my wonderful husband, Graham), I went back to school, got my esthetician’s license, and after paying my dues at a spa in Beverly Hills, I landed my dream job with Jodi and all of the other lovely ladies at Queen Bee. My specialties include deep cleaning facials, lightening-fast leg waxing, and keeping our male clientele groomed and gorgeous.

Wed: Culver City 1:30-9:30
Thur: Culver City 1:30- 9:30
Fri: Culver City 9-4:30
Sat: Culver City 8:30-4:30
