Waxing Bee

Originally from Colombia, I was raised in six different countries and have been exposed to many cultures due to my mother’s career in the foreign services. I moved to California last year from Mexico City and am now happy to call Los Angeles my home. With the encouragement of my husband, I attended the AVEDA institute where I discovered my calling in all things beauty and waxing. Soon after graduation, I took a Brazilian waxing class here at Queen Bee, and knew I had found the perfect place to flourish. So I decided to stalk Jodi and beg for a job. (At least, that’s how she tells the story.) After plying her with more than one Pimm’s cup, I convinced her to let me to apprentice. It has now been over a year since I started, and I am so thrilled to be part of the Queen Bee family! When not waxing away at work, I enjoy indulging my foodie side, exploring L.A., and spending quality time with my husband and the world’s cutest pup, Princess!
