Waxing Bee

I am a licensed esthetician with seven years of experience in skincare and waxing. It was my own struggle with acne as a teenager that lured me into this field, but after being trained in the art of waxing, I fell in love with hair removal as well.

Until I entered school to become an aesthetician, I had actually never heard of a Brazilian bikini wax. Of course, once I found out about it, I couldn’t believe I’d never done it before and I decided to give it a whirl…on myself. Well, let’s just say that my experiment didn’t go quite as planned, and I ended up having to call an esthetician friend to come over and finish the job for me. Unfortunately, she wasn’t much better than I was, and we ended up using a blow dryer (yes, a blow dryer) to heat up the wax. Fortunately, I now have many years of professional waxing experience under my belt, so mishaps like this one are a thing of the very distant past. I’ll always remember my first experience with waxing and how intimidating it can be, though, and it’s painfully funny memories like that that help me relate to my clients and give them the best service possible. I truly enjoy helping other women (and men) keep themselves beautiful and well groomed…and protecting them from botched at-home wax jobs.
